One of Beeman's most popular PCP air rifles just got an upgrade. The affordably priced QB Chief pellet rifle now comes in a 10-shot repeating model - The Chief II.

Based on the existing Chief platform, this repeater features a 10-shot rotary magazine, the same two-stage, adjustable QB78 trigger, a 21.5" rifled, steel barrel, 136cc air cylinder with a 2,000 psi pressure capacity and an ambidextrous hardwood, Monte Carlo stock with a raised cheekpiece.

With reported muzzle velocities of 830 fps (in .22), the Chief II PCP air rifle from Beeman is an ideal entry into precharged pneumatic airgun shooting, with plenty of power to take out nuisance animals, small game, target shoot and plink. Beeman reports up to 35 shots in .22.

This rifle's air reservoir ends with a male quick-disconnect Foster fitting for refilling (requires a female Foster quick-disconnect adapter to fill from a scuba tank, hand pump or HPA compressor)

10 Shot magazine capacity in .22, alternatively, it comes w/ a single pellet loader. 

The bolt is nice and firm, we recommend, once the bolt is flipped up, to use your thumb at the rearmost of the action, as support when pulling the bolt back. Unlike, for example, the PR900W, this rifle's bolt is not a flimsy/thin aluminium piece that will snap loose after some use. The action has a rear bolt resting notch, whose use is usually recommended for you need to reload / swop the magazines out.

Fibre optic insert sights - Double green notch at the rear, unshielded red blade insert at the front.

Integrated sound moderator, doesn't appear to be removable.

Barrel band factory installed, which some other entry level PCP rifles lack.

Filling probe integrated at the frontal end of the air reservoir - nice feature since this means you won't loose your probe. It comes w/ a tightly fitting rubber cap that encapsulated the male quick coupler end when not in use.

The stock feels incredibly robust w/ a smooth finish. No laser etched checkering grip panels unfortunately.

Shots per fill should be about 25 - 30, however unregulated. Just watch your POI on this rifle across your shot string.

Fills up to just 200 BAR, like most other entry level PCP rifles. With a handpump, this can be accomplished in under 15 minutes (from 100 - 200 BAR)

Comes w/ 2x 10 shot magazines and 2x single loaders.

Buttplate is curved and rubberized w/ some horizontal grip lines
