Introducing the FLX-S-DT from Optex's FlipX Standard Series, the ultimate indoor Dual-tech PIR sensor with a new and innovative pyro sensor. With its human catch element, this sensor offers superior pet tolerance and can create human-sized detection areas.

The rotatable lens allows for both wide and narrow detection, making it a versatile choice for everyday intrusion detection in residential or small commercial sites. Plus, the FLX-S-DT model features dual technology (PIR and microwave detection) to ensure top performance in challenging indoor environments.

Dual technology

The FLX-S-DT is a dual technology sensor using both PIR and microwave detection. Only when both the PIR and microwave activate will the alarm be triggered. However what really makes the FlipX stand out is the use of our bespoke Tough MOD 2 which unlike other microwave sensors, tailors its detection range to the IR sensor, providing higher levels of capture performance whilst mitigating false alarms.

Advanced pyro sensor

Equipped with the latest technology, bespoke pyroelectric sensor, the FlipX Standard ensures high performance and accuracy. What makes the sensor unique is its ability to adapt to the human shape and differentiate humans with greater clarity, avoiding false alarms triggered by pets.

Spherical lens design

The specially designed spherical lens provides a precise focal length of each detection ray onto the pyroelectric elements. This advanced lens design helps to ensure consistency throughout the field of detection and considerably reduces the chance of missed alarms

SMDA logic

All FlipX series are equipped with a digitally enhanced signal recognition logic, "SMDA". This highly developed detection technology helps the sensor avoid nuisance alarms from shades, changes in temperature or brightness which can be common in indoor settings. With this enhanced digital logic you can get piece of mind that your alarm will not be activated by everyday triggers. In this model we have also incorporated features from outdoor sensors, to make it more resistant and durable for everyday indoor detection use.
