We stock a small variety of bipods, mostly branded UTG (also known as "Leapers UTG"). Their products all come supplied w/ swivel mounting adaptors (lined with an anti-scratch rubber layer inside for extra grip), making them useful for mounting onto rifle stocks. Those that come supplied with the offset swivel plate accessory, may be compatible with our range of air rifles. In such a case, the stock should preferably be wood and should have an existing swivel stud affixed. Before deciding on buying a bipod in conjunction with an airgun or to be used in conjunction, make sure the airgun has a weaver or picatinny railing. If not, make sure there is a swivel stud in place. If not, you might need to buy one separately and install it or have it installed. We however, cannot assume any responsibility for such work done on any products bought from us.
We have bipods sitting straight underbarrel as well as offset (to not obstruct one's off-hand). Some have mounting blocks that screw on with the hand and can also be tool-fastened thereafter (w/ a flat screwdriver), while others have a QD lever lock option. Some have legs w/ external springs that sets only in two positions, while others set the same way, but uses a 'posi-lock' spring-loaded mechanism for leg retention. Our premium models come w/ legs that locks in five positions - 180, 45 and 90 degrees.
Most of the bipods are capable of panning, while some can pan 360 as well as tilt up/down and sideways to get a sight picture beyond cover/concealment without needing to lift the gun up.
Most bipods can adjust their center height whilst the majority have legs that can adjust to allow firing over a slope or small cover.
The majority of these bipods are Anodized Aluminium, meaning they have superb corrosion resistance, even should the finish come off, but they are not steel and whilst they are made durable under fair use conditions, they will likely not survive for long if sustaining prolonged battering.
As with any mating metal parts, keep your bipod maintained with proper lubricant, such as BALLISTOL (which we also sell) and it will serve you many happy years ahead
All LEAPERS UTG products come fitted with conical rubber feet, also known as 'ferrules' sometimes, w/ concentric grip patterns to allow them easier grip on uneven spots.
