The Crosman 760B pumpmaster weighs under 1.3 kg, making it a solid starter air rifle for 5 / 6 year olds. The stock and forearm are made of a hollow synthetic w/ an artificial wood appearance whereas. An economical rifle, the Pumpmaster takes up to 10 pumps to send BB's 625 fps and 8gr pellets 600 fps.
Chambered in both 4.5mm BB as well as pellet (You'll need the strip clip in order to be able to chamber the pellets)
No recoil whatsoever on this rifle,
The curved handle has pronounced blotted checkering, which allows for a positive grip, both on the rear and foregrip, which would tac to sweaty palms and fingers as well. The forward hinging pump action is solid synthetic and durable - resists warping and sits solid enough in position. Hinging it out forward from the bottom, pulls the reverse gas piston. Resetting this lever's position, will compress air into the pressure chamber. Multiple strokes as such can be pumped, compressing the reservoir up with higher pressure. Please note that, once a shot is fired, all the built-up air will release all at once.
The barrel is otherwise solid steel and is rifled for shooting pellets.
