This is the AKSA ARMS F90 - alike most other F90 models, this pistol is quite stiff in terms of the blowback spring, the tightness on the tolerances and the weight too, which expresses the quality in the build of this gun.

Quick Overview

  • CZ 75 type replica.
  • All Metal design, very durable and weighty.
  • Reliable cartridge extraction through CZ 75 type ejection port - cartridges eject only rightward.
  • Single Action / Double Action
  • 16 Shot magazine capacity
  • Narrow tolerances on the gun, nothing shaking loose.
  • Well-engineered product - we appreciate how properly everything on this gun works.

This is a really solid-feeling blank gun, that has a good, vintage solid feel to it, both in weight and the stiff controls. This pistol features synthetic gripstocks that are removable, retaining by means of a set of countersunk phillips drive screws, one on each side.

The lower, forward quadron of the gripstocks have diamond checkering for improved grip whilst the circumference of the handle is larger, lending itself better to the gentleman w/ larger hands. On top of these, we have thumb rests, which are shallow indented to lend some ergonomy to the hold of the pistol. The short beaver tail indicates the short narrow movement arc of the hammer. The latter being stiff as well to counteract accidental toggling of it, which can help to prevent the hammer hitting the firing pin due to snagging.

The safety lever is frame-mounted, to its uppermost extremity, at its rear as well. It features stepped / layer checkering both upward and downward, allowing for easier / more tackier toggling. Not only that, but this lever clicks positively in place, be itinto SAFE or FIRE. When the pistol is in SAFE, the slide cannot be racked. Likewise, if the hammer is engaged and the safety lever is toggled to SAFE, then the trigger cannot engage the sear / discharge the pistol. Likewise, if the slide is caught, then the safety cannot be engaged. BTW - this safety lever is ambidextrous..

The magazine release button, we find, has a really nice aesthetic appeal. The button is cylindrically shaped, though follows the angular curvature surrounding the trigger, lending a pleasant post-modern sleek finish. The top end is also serrated to lend downward-pressing traction, w/ a small cut-out made on the grip stock itself to allow one's thumb to access this button easier.

The trigger itself, true to the CZ style of triggers, is forwardly positioned when in reset. Once the gun is cocked, the trigger assumes a middle-down, at attention, w/ an even amount of force needed to 'bbreak the trigger', so to say. This is the hallmark of a properly-made gun - a trigger should take up very smoothly, up to a wall, which itself should be crisp and clearly defined, and break w/ not much added effort, though the extra effort required should be noticeable enough.

Otherwise, the cocking serrations on the slide are well-defined and feature sharp, crisp edges that do grip into your fingers as soon as you engage the slide in order to rack it.

The finish on this pistol otherwise is really lovely! - features a hard coated race car finish w/ black grip stocks to match. Likewise the controls are all black. We find that the finish on this pistol is notably more durable than alot of the finish on some cheaper blank guns we've had the opportunity of handling.

If you want to a CZ 75 replica blank gun w/ a higher grade of durability and workmanship, we definitely recommend this pistol.
