    Please that this module produces a projecting red beam of light at higher charge, but not enough to burn / set cigarettes alight or light match sticks. As such, this module can give away your position if used at night due to aforementioned reason - your beam can be traced back to your laser module. On the flip side, this beam can have an intimidating effect and likewise, can penetrate smoke, if part of your (mission) tactics involve deploying smoke.

    We suggest mounting this on top or on the bottom of your rifle so that, if your aim is out, you just need to compensate for elevation. If mounted on the slide and some crosswinds for whatever reason comes into play, you might sit with a problem and confuse yourself, especially w/ air rifles. Not only that but, compenating for distance by means of left and right adjustment, can get confusing.

    Designed for fast and sure target acquisition at close and moderate ranges, the Red Laser Kit from Hawke Sport Optics offers the versatility of mounting on a rail or clamping to the tube of a scope. It can be used with scopes with objective lenses up to 56mm. The 5mW laser has a range of 55 yards and comes with a remote stock switch, tube mounts for 1 inch, and 30mm tubes and a rail mount compatible with Picatinny rails.
