We recommend a bipod like this for something like the ARTEMIS CP2, that comes w/ a minute Picatinny rail strip affixed to the included barrel band. It is cheap and operates w/ relative ease. For backyard fun and short distance sniping of rats and small invasive bird species, this bipod will serve you just well. Otherwise, if you have a CR600, you'll have to purchase a Picatinny rail strip seperate, affix it onto the stock, then affix this bipod thereon.

You can spend hundreds of pounds on bipods but this has all the functions most people will ever need and when mounted will be indistinguishable to more expensive models.
